Barracks

Need fresh bodies for the fight? The Barracks are where you hire mercenaries, re-roll your hunters, manage your squad and start regretting your budget.
Manage Squad
This is command central. Swap units in and out of your active squad, check their stats, and argue with yourself about whether to bench your underperforming knight or keep him for sentimental reasons. Every Hunt begins here, with you choosing which brave (or unlucky) souls will march into the Wildlands. Here, you may also re-roll your Hunters - whether they've perished and you've deemed them unworthy of a revive or they're just constantly harshing on your squad's mellow, you can always roll for another character. Who knows, you might even come across some true legends...
If you want to earn Nethertalons (and the corresponding Hunt Rewards) and build up your Hunters, you need to put them in your active squad at the Barracks. Otherwise, you can only go on hunts with Recruits and they take everything with them after the hunt ends.
Armory
The Armory is where you kit out your squad.
This feature is not currently available in the beta version of the Hunters of Faenora.
Hire and Release
Hunters don’t appear out of thin air (well, except maybe Moochkin’s experiments...but he tried to hush those rumors). Hire new units at the Barracks to fill out your squad or release those who’ve… let’s say “failed upward” (in each case, utilizing the innovative MPL404 swap feature to swap between MCHY tokens and NFT characters). When you hire, you can choose to hire Mercenaries or Villagers. Choose wisely, because the Wildlands rarely forgive bad HR decisions.
There is a severance payment (swap fee) when releasing an NFT character out on their lonesome.
