Villagers

The Villager’s combat résumé mostly involves wooden swords and convincing sound effects, but what they lack in skill, they make up for in grit.

Villagers earn the same Nethertalon rewards as Mercenaries, but are rarely equipped to survive tough fights against Netherbeasts. Their motivations are simple: stay alive, find food and maybe carry home a bit of loot.

While not exactly elite Hunters, Villagers can still serve a purpose. Some take the gamble for leaderboard glory; some use them as pack carriers in Hunts; others stake them with the Financier for a steadier, safer source of rewards.

Usage Tips

• Keep Them Safe: Villagers are best off in the middle protected from danger...or better yet, in Donegal.

• Avoid Boss Fights: They’re not built for glory, they’re built for groceries.

• Stake Strategically: Their best contribution may come from passive rewards through the Financier.

• Loot Mules: Villagers may have a special use carrying your spoils while the Armory is under construction.
